Plain-language privacy
Small data.
Clear purpose.
This portfolio uses a deliberately limited, first-party measurement system to understand whether the work is useful. It does not use advertising trackers, sell visitor data, or include contact messages in AI analysis.

What is measured
On public portfolio pages, the site may record a page path, timestamp, short-lived pseudonymous session identifier, referrer domain or explicit UTM source, broad country, device class, viewed sections, selected links, form stage, engaged time, and maximum scroll depth.
The identifier lives only in the browser tab session. Raw IP addresses are not stored in analytics records. A one-way pseudonymous IP key is used briefly to protect the collection endpoint from abuse.
Why it is measured
The data answers a narrow set of questions: whether visitors find the work, engage with evidence, show contact intent, and where the portfolio journey can be made clearer. It is not used for advertising, cross-site profiling, or automated decisions about people.
Contact inquiries
If you use the contact form, Netlify Forms stores the name, email, reason, and message you choose to provide. Inquiry details are protected behind the private analytics workspace, loaded only on request, and excluded from the site’s metrics response and copied AI strategy prompt.
Contact submissions and analytics events are removed after 180 days. Email correspondence may be retained separately when it is needed to continue a professional conversation.
Your privacy signals
If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, the public analytics script exits before creating a session identifier or sending an event. You can also prevent measurement by blocking JavaScript or first-party requests to /api/track.
Service providers
Netlify hosts the site, runs its functions, stores first-party analytics, and processes contact submissions. Google Fonts supplies the site’s typography and receives standard request metadata such as IP address and user agent when a font is requested. Linked sites apply their own privacy practices.
Questions or deletion
To ask what information is associated with a contact inquiry, request deletion, or raise a privacy question, email [email protected]. Include the email address used in the inquiry so it can be located.
